This beautiful landscape is in Pamukkale, western Turkey. It is unique in the world and therefore was declared a World Heritage Site.

The large amount of minerals including calcium have been the cause of the formation of the landscape.

The Greeks discovered the health properties of thermal waters (to over 40 º c) and lands.

At the top of the mountain, on this marvelous landscape, lie the ruins of the ancient Roman city, where we can see almost all of the amphitheater, one of the best preserved.

Currently you can swim in the artificial pools created for it, which are bathed in natural waters of the mountain, and in the old pool. A small "complex" in that it is also possible to swim in the hot springs that are carried to a modern swimming pool.

Pamukkale is also a small village with few tourists, but has magnificent family restaurants and great hotels and guesthouses.
